Dr. Doug Lurie
Douglas Neil Lurie, Jr, MD was born in Dothan AL. He received his Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from Birmingham Southern College in 1998. He then attended the University of South Alabama in Mobile, receiving his Doctor of Medicine Degree in 2002.

His Internship and Residency in Orthopaedic Surgery was completed in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Ochsner Medical Clinic, New Orleans – June 2007.

Dr. Lurie joined our practice in July 2007. Dr. Lurie enjoys all aspects of Orthopaedic medicine and working with patients of all ages. His wife Jamie is a fellowship-trained physician specializing in Allergy and Immunology. Along with toddler daughter, Ellie, the family now resides in Fairhope and enjoys exploring their new community in their free time.
