Michael Zoghby, P.T., C.H.T., L.A.T., Director of Rehabilitation Services

Michael ZoghbyMichael ZoghbyIn 1979 Michael J. Zoghby (physical therapist, certified hand therapist, licensed athletic trainer) initiated rehabilitation services at Bayside Orthopaedic, Sports Medicine Rehabilitation Center.

A native of Mobile, he received his degree in Physical Therapy form the University of South Alabama in 1978. He completed his affiliate education at Spain Rehabilitation Center (Birmingham), Baptist Medical Center (Birmingham), and Decatur Hospital (Decatur), prior to obtaining his physical therapy degree. Mr. Zoghby was licensed through the Alabama Board of Physical Therapy in 1978. He met the criteria to obtain certification as a hand therapist (C.H.T.) in 1994 and licensed as an Athletic Trainer (L.A.T) in 1995.

He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, American Society of Hand Therapists, Alabama Physical Therapy Association, Alabama Athletic Trainer Association, Mobile/Baldwin County Physical Therapy Association and Mobile-Baldwin County Hand Journal Club.

Through many years, Mr. Zoghby has given his time, talents and energy to athletics in Baldwin County. He was inducted as an associated member of the Fairhope High School Athletic Hall of Fame in 1993. He has served on the Fairhope Educational Advisory Committee.

He has been a member of Saint Lawrence Catholic Church since moving to Fairhope in 1979. He has been a co-director of the youth choir for many years and most recently has been involved in the Eastern Shore Choral Society. He is also a member of the Fairhope Rotary Club.

He and his wife, Lisa, have had great joy in raising their three children - Lauren, Sherrell, and Michael Jr. - on the wonderful Eastern Shore.
