Workers Comp Patients

In addition to our other services, we also treat problems related to on-the-job injuries. Our goal is to treat the injured worker and to assist in proper recovery and rehabilitation in order to return him or her to his previous job and gainful employment as soon as possible.

Our procedures are designed to meet the special needs of employers, case workers, insurance adjusters and the injured worker.

When necessary, we are equipped to perform Physical Work Performance Evaluations to provide information and assist in proper decision making regarding the injured worker.

We believe that excellent communication should exist between all involved parties. To that end, our workers' compensation liaison, Chantel, is designated to address the needs of the department.

Working closely with employers, Bayside’s Work Comp Program is constantly adapting to the changing needs of those parties to ensure excellent patient care while maintaining proper communication with all involved in a timely manner.

Data from the US Department of Labor reveals that occupational musculoskeletal disorders are the leading cause of work disability in the United States. The physicians, physical therapists, and staff of Bayside Orthopaedic Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Center are committed not only to caring for those who have sustained an injury in the workplace but also to assisting companies minimize the risk of musculoskeletal injuries in the workplace.
